10 video Shots

This shot is a choker shot of my dog Zoe. One of the best models to work with. This shot is an extreme close up of my dogs paw. This shot was difficult because she did not want me touching her.  This shot is a full shot that captures her whole body. She is also posing on her favorite pillow.  This is an eye level shot of Zoe staring off in the distance. This is a high angle shot of my dog Zoe. I like this shot because I was able to film it without her knowing.  This is a P.O.V. shot of me rubbing on my dog. She probably enjoyed this shot the most. This is an over the shoulder shot. This is one of my favorite shots to see in movies.  This is a tight shot of Zoe since her whole body takes up the frame. This is a Low angle shot of Zoe. She looks the most like a rat on this angle. This final shot is a Medium-Long shot of my dog Zoe. You can see her whole body and the bed she is on.

Review of a few camera angles in Avengers (2012)

Image
I chose to watch the 2012 Avengers movie. I’ve loved this movie ever since it first came out in theatre with all of its intensity and action. I already know this movie has tons of different angles in it too. I decided to go with the original Avengers movie because even though I’ve seen all of them I like the action and suspense in this movie the most.  The movie opens up with this birds eye view or in other words a Top shot where the audience can survey the military base. This is the SHIELD military base that is like a more extreme government. With this Top shot you can tell the movie wants the audience to know how large the military base is and where the action is about to occur. This shot also shows the cars and helicopters scrambling around in the midst of emergency.  This next scene shows Samuel L Jackson (aka Nick Fury) arriving at the base and coming out of a helicopter. This low angle shot of him getting out shows him being assertive and like the article states “ the lo...

Film #1 Peer Reviews What specific elements of the film opening did you like? Was there anything that left you confused? (be specific) What suggestions do you have for changes? I liked the camera angles to give it a more interesting feel for it. I did not understand why the killer went in the house. I would suggest using more commentary between characters. I liked the acting and the camera angles! Also the story line, especially the comedic touches, were well thought out!! The way it ended made it seem like a trailer to a tv show or that it was the end entirely (with the to be continued?) and since it is a movie opening maybe that could be changed a bit. Maybe make some of the transitions a bit smoother and cleaner - some worked really nicely but others were weaker. I liked the constant transitions with doors, and the last scene The overall plot was a bit splotchy and confusing. I could get the idea of what was happening, but context is more needed as to why people are hiding/looking f...
